Establishment of the Company
The Company was established pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 2909 of 1964 as an Egyptian joint stock company and is affiliated with the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels. Its name was amended to Al-Maamoura for Development and Tourism Development Company. The Company is subject to the provisions of the Public Business Sector Companies Law and its Executive Regulations No. 203 of 1991, as amended by Law No. 185 of 2020. The Egyptian Chrome Company was merged into it with all its assets and components effective as of 28/06/2000.
